Alain Locke of Howard University edits a special issue of Survey Graphic on "Color: The Unfinished Business of Democracy." Published in November, the magazine includes articles by Walter White ("The Right to Fight for Democracy"), Earl Brown ("Colored Soldiers, U.S.A."), A. Philip Randolph ("Why Should We March?"), and Sterling A. Brown ("Out of their Mouths"), among others.
